On March 16 and 17, 26 women from Jacaltenango and Cuilco, Huehuetenango, received a good practices workshop in manufacture, preparation and packaging of seasonal fruit jams and nutritious vegetables. Participants received training at the Technical Institute of Training -INTECAP- Huehuetenango headquarters.

These trainings are carried out under the framework of the Women Empowerment Project in rural areas, with the support of the

Italo-Latin American Institute (IILA), with the purpose of empowering women in income generation.
