On May 4, 25 families from the Loma Bonita community, San Pablo, San Marcos, received a donation of amino acids to fertiirrigar and bags to preserve grains. Funcafé's technical team provided demonstrative training to families so that the inputs are used the right way in the production of home gardens for self-consumption.

Funcafé signed a letter of understanding with EGS, S.A., representative of Grain Pro in Guatemala, on May 11, 2016 with the objective of contributing to food and nutritional security promoting adequate technology, friendly to the environment and accessible to families in Guatemalan rural areas.
